Book Launch on March 24, 2026, in Brazil with a YouTube Live Stream

The event at Espaço Cultural Alagados (Salvador, Bahia) will be streamed on the REPROTAI Network’s channel

Good news: The hardcover edition of “Todo Rio Resiste Mar” is now also being published in Brazil!

All Portuguese-speaking interested parties are cordially invited to the presentation of the multimedia book on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, starting at 6 p.m. Brazilian time at Espaço Cultural Alagados in Salvador da Bahia. The event will be streamed live on the REPROTAI Network’s YouTube channel starting at 10 p.m. German time. The recording will also remain available online afterward.

This transdisciplinary project was realized by Valerie V.V. Gruber and Gilbert Shang Ndi in collaboration with the DjumbaiALA team, the REPROTAI network, and the socio-cultural association Candilé. The multimedia book comprises an artistic cartography of Afro-Latin American memoirs, poems, videos, and audio recordings developed as part of the participatory action research of the cluster project “Moral Geographies of Re-Existence.” Both the e-book and the hardcover edition are available free of charge at the University Library of Bayreuth in the original languages of Spanish and Portuguese.
